The Web3 + AI Daily #26
On the agenda: DeAI Digital Asset Treasuries and hardware, AI powering data sharing, and decentralized mapping powering robotaxis.
Hello, everyone, and welcome to all newly-joined subscribers!
This is The Web3 + AI Daily, your definitive guide to the world of Decentralized AI (DeAI/dAI)! Today’s selection covers Web3 + AI innovations across equity markets, corporate data sharing, crowdsourcing compute resources, and decentralized mapping to power autonomous vehicle.
Thank you for being here! Let’s dive in.
What’s Hot in Web3 + AI?
Aethir to Boost DeAI Compute with a $344M Treasury
The decentralized compute provider Aethir has launched a $344M Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) aimed at bridging traditional finance and decentralized AI infrastructure. It is now trading on Nasdaq under the ticker $POAI.
The initiative is backed by Predictive Oncology and is intended to provide institutional investors with exposure to decentralized GPU infrastructure and AI compute through blockchain mechanisms.
Through this initiative, Aethir hopes to strengthen its position in decentralized GPU computing, promote alignment between institutional capital and the DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) sector, and accelerate adoption of blockchain-based AI compute solutions.
A Digital Asset Treasury company is a publicly traded firm that allocates a sizable portion of its treasury reserves to digital assets like Bitcoin’s $BTC, Ethereum‘s $ETH, or Solana Labs‘s $SOL, rather than traditional cash or bonds. I’ll make sure to share a deep dive on DATs soon, so stay tuned.
Chainlink Uses AI to Streamline Corporate Action Data Sharing
Chainlink Labs, the Web3 industry leader in oracle services, is piloting an AI-enabled communications tool to simplify and accelerate the processing of corporate actions and cross-institutional data sharing. This is a global initiative, in which Chainlink is backed by some of the world’s largest financial players, like Swift, The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), and Euroclear.
Corporate actions data tracks events like dividends, stock splits, mergers, and acquisitions that significantly impact a company’s stock performance and a shareholder’s holdings. This data is vital for investors, analysts, and financial institutions to make informed decisions, manage risk, and comply with regulations.
The project integrates large language models into its oracle and blockchain stack to translate unstructured announcements into standardized, validated records. Using ISO 20022 messaging and distributing data via Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), the system seeks to cut down processing delays from days to minutes, reduce errors, and deliver a unified “golden record” accessible by both legacy and on-chain systems. The effort also addresses the global cost burden of fragmented corporate action workflows, currently estimated in the tens of billions annually.

PAI3’s DeAI Power Nodes Now Shipping
The PAI3 Power Node, the decentralized AI hardware device, introduced a while ago by PAI3.AI and designed to strengthen community-controlled AI infrastructure, is now live.
Limited to 3,141 units and powered by a 20-core GPU, each node allows operators to earn up to 150,000 PAI3 tokens over a period of three years.
Web3 + AI Partnerships & Collaborations
Gata and Soonchain
gata.xyz, a project building decentralized AI language models and training infrastructure, has formed a strategic partnership with SoonChain, an AI-enabled gaming Layer-2 network, to enable more scalable and accessible AI training and compute.
The alliance aims to reduce reliance on centralized cloud providers, unlock new incentives for contributors (e.g. gamers providing idle compute) via Gata’s native token $GATA, and help democratize AI resources in the Web3 ecosystem.

Decentralized Mapping Firm Bee Maps Raises $32M
Bee Maps, a decentralized mapping initiative built on the Hivemapper framework on Solana Labs blockchain, raised $32M to expand its global contributor network and scale its infrastructure.
The funding round, led by Pantera Capital, LDA Capital, Borderless, and Ajna Capital, represents one of the largest DePIN rounds this year. The capital will be used to:
Deploy more hardware devices globally to collect mapping data;
Improve AI models responsible for processing and updating map features;
Boost incentive programs for contributors via the native token $HONEY.
Bee Maps already collaborates with companies like Lyft and Volkswagen Group’s robotaxi program to integrate its mapping data into real-world applications.
NSF Awards Yotta Labs a Grant to Accelerate DeAI
Yotta Labs has received a $300,000 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to advance Decentralized Artificial Intelligence for Accessible and Cost-Effective AI.
The project will focus on developing decentralized orchestration systems that make high-performance compute more affordable, more sustainable, and more equitable.

Don’t Trust AI Agents with Your Funds Yet, Eliza Labs Founder Warns
Eliza Labs founder Shaw Walters argues that AI agents aren’t ready to be trusted with managing capital, saying their true strength lies in structuring raw market data and executing on high-frequency trades rather than autonomously investing.
Eliza Labs is building systems like a “marketplace of trust” that converts token hype into paper trades to score credibility, and pilot a smart-contract-guarded agent-run OTC desk.
