The Web3 + AI Daily #24
On today's agenda: tokenized robo-farms, agentic payments, and gaming IP-backed memecoins.
Hello, everyone, and welcome to all newly-joined subscribers!
This is The Web3 + AI Daily, your definitive guide to the world of Decentralized AI (DeAI/dAI)! The convergence of blockchain and artificial intelligence is on the verge of disrupting robotics, farming, digital payments, gaming, equity markets, and multiple other industries. You don’t believe me? Allow me to convince you.
Thank you for being here! Let’s dive in.
What’s Hot in Web3 + AI?
Peaq Unveils the World’s First Tokenized Robo-Farm
The DePIN-focused chain peaq, in partnership with dualmint and Kanaya AI Technology Limited, is launching a tokenized robo-farm in Hong Kong, turning vertical indoor farming into a blockchain revenue-sharing model.
The facility will grow crops in stacked layers using climate control and automation, aiming for high efficiency, reduced water use, and frequent harvest cycles. Revenues from produce sales will be tokenized as NFTs on Peaq’s network, giving holders exposure to actual farm cash flow. The project is slated to go live in Q4 2025.
The next time someone tries to scare you with the upcoming AI-created doom or apocalypse, make sure to show them this piece of news. It points to a future where machines generate value and blockchain ensures that value flows back to people everywhere. It’s a glimpse at a new kind of revenue model for mankind in the age of autonomous, AI-driven industries.
IQ Implements x402, Equips Agents with Native Crypto Payments
The Web3 + AI firm IQ introduced a starter template combining ADK-TS (a TypeScript Agent Development Kit) with Coinbase‘s x402 protocol, enabling AI agents to both charge and pay using cryptocurrency.
A few days ago, I wrote about the x402 protocol and foundation set up by Coinbase and Cloudflare. It standardizes crypto micropayments: when a client requests access to a paid resource, the server responds with an HTTP 402 “Payment Required” that specifies price, token, and recipient. The client makes the on-chain payment, resends the request with proof, and the server unlocks the resource.
Using ADK-TS as the agent framework, developers can build agents supporting memory, session management, and multiple AI models. The architecture separates payment logic (on the server/proxy) from agent logic, making pricing adjustments easier without redeploying agents.

Story Strikes Again, Brings Korea’s Megafranchise Solo Leveling On-Chain
The intellectual property tokenization protocol Story keeps delivering major partnership announcements! After covering their deal with Verse8 yesterday, today it’s time for Solo Leveling, the hugely popular Korean webnovel and webtoon, and one of the most-watched animes ever.
The partnership enables select elements of Solo Leveling, such as characters and content rights, to be represented on-chain, enabling programmable licensing, remixing, and creator/fan collaboration under enforced royalty rules.
One notable twist: Solo Leveling plans to issue an official IP-backed memecoin, tied to its universe, distinguishing it from typical meme tokens that have little connection to creators. This move aims to transform how large media franchises monetize and engage communities through tokenization of storytelling.
Vara Pioneers AI-Generated On-Chain Shooter Game
The Vara Network, a layer-1 chain powered by Gear Technologies, has built V-Starship, a blockchain shooter game, as a proof of concept to test how AI can assist in creating a fully on-chain game.
The project shows that AI can accelerate prototyping of contracts, UI, and assets, while blockchain integration still requires precision. V-Starship is already live at starship.vara.network, with leaderboards, tournaments, and NFT upgrades.
Web3 + AI Investment News
Injective Brings Private Equity to Web3, Offers Exposure to OpenAI, Anthropic
This is not the type of update I usually share here, since I tend to focus on technical innovations in the intersection of artificial intelligence and blockchain tech. However, this news highlights a different angle of the Web3 + AI space, and once again shows just how multi-faceted it really is.
The Layer-1 blockchain Injective has launched on-chain perpetual futures markets to let investors gain exposure to some of the largest private companies by market capitalization, before they go public (pre-IPO). The offering include equity from current leaders in the AI race like OpenAI and Anthropic.
The move aims to democratize access to private equity markets, traditionally reserved for institutions. So far, Injective reports seeing $1B in real-world asset perpetual futures volume over a 30-day period. It plans to expand the list to include more private companies such as Monzo, Revolut, Notion, SpaceXAI, and others.
